Toyota Forklifts of Atlanta today announced it has purchased, effective July 31, 2014, the assets and operations of MDS Forklifts, Inc. an independent forklift dealership located in Austell, Georgia.

In making the announcement, Toyota Forklifts of Atlanta President, Lee Smith commented: “We are pleased to have partnered with the owners and associates of MDS Forklifts, Inc. This strategic acquisition will immediately increase Toyota Forklifts of Atlanta’s ability to provide high quality forklift service to customers throughout the Atlanta market and beyond.

Founded in 2006 by Wesley and Jerry Scott, MDS has grown substantially since inception, and had become a formidable competitor in the marketplace. With its extensive service technical expertise and management experience, they are well known for their high level of customer service and support. We welcome all MDS staff and clients to the Toyota Forklifts of Atlanta family, and look forward to putting our combined years of experience to work for all of our new and existing customers.”
