TOYOTA GENUINE PARTS ONCE AGAIN RANKS HIGHEST IN ALL CATEGORIES OF FORKLIFT PARTS SURVEY

October 23rd, 2014 - COLUMBUS, Ind. – Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A, Inc. (TMHU) announced Toyota Genuine Parts ranked highest against competing brands for another consecutive year in the 2014 Lift Truck Parts Study*.

Hundreds of material handling professionals participated in the survey and rated Toyota’s products the highest based on Best Quality, Durability, Reliability, and Value for the Money for forklift parts. These four categories were also ranked as the most significant characteristics when evaluating forklift parts for purchase. Conducted by Peerless Research Group, the annual survey examines what professionals in the material handling industry perceive as the most important qualities and considerations for forklift parts purchases. The study also determines which brands have the best reputation in various categories.

“Over the years, Toyota has proven time and again a strong commitment and dedication to producing the highest quality parts and accessories,” said Terry Rains, vice president of aftermarket sales for TMHU. “As the survey highlights, we strive to provide our customers with first-rate parts to maximize productivity and deliver a strong return on investment.”

Responses were collected from more than 200 readers of Modern Materials Handling magazine who are personally involved in purchasing and evaluating forklifts and forklift accessories. The majority of participants were corporate managers, plant managers, and distribution center or warehouse managers, in a broad spectrum of industries including automotive, food and beverage, fabricated metals, industrial machinery and more.
